How to send artwork

Prepress

Artwork may be electronically sent to:  tmp@customenvelopes.com 

To help expedite your order please follow these instructions.  Artwork sent in programs other than the ones listed below may not produce expectable artwork for the envelope printing process.  

Send file in the following formats, both Windows or Mac versions, okay.

• Adobe Acrobat 3 or 4 (must use Acrobat Distiller, not PDF Writer)

• Adobe Illustrator 8 or lower

• Adobe PageMaker

• Adobe Photoshop

• QuarkXpress

• Corel Draw 

When sending electronic files:

• Fax us a hard copy to 707-450-0138, whenever possible.  It is important for us to have a visual of the artwork to match up with the file.

• Remember to enclose supporting files, such as fonts, graphics, etc.

• The file size should be under 5MB (compress files using Winzip).

When setting up artwork for envelope printing:

• Set-up colors as spot colors, not process (CYMK).  If your artwork contains screens, please provide us with film whenever possible. Screen line max of 150 lines. If we are to separate artwork, this will require an additional prepress fee which will be quoted upon receipt of artwork.

• All artwork subject to review and approval prior to commencement of job.

• Provide color placement (PMS #'s) on fax hard copy
